About Company
The Seychelles Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that exist solely for the care and protection of Seychelles animals, mainly cats and dogs.
We rely on donations, sponsorship and both local and international grants to fund the shelter and our various projects.
Our capacity is 165 animals although we often run at 200+ due to the high volume of stray and abandoned animals in Seychelles.
We actively promote pet sterilization and adoption both locally and internationally to try to reduce the number of shelter animals, and we are always open to work with local and international organizations to help us manage this crisis.
We run sterilization clinics at the shelter three times per week which is a source of income for the shelter, in addition we also provide sterilization clinics on Praslin and La Digue as well as district sterilization clinics to make it easier for the general public to have access to pet sterilization.
