Job Description

Location – Fond Ferdinand – Praslin

The Visitors’ Attendant ensures the delivery of high-quality guided and self-guided visitor services at Fond Ferdinand Reserve. The role involves welcoming guests, interpreting the site’s unique biodiversity and cultural heritage, verifying tickets, monitoring park activities, and supporting conservation awareness. The Visitor’s Attendants are expected to represent SIF with professionalism, enhance visitor satisfaction, and contribute to the overall protection and promotion of Seychelles’ natural heritage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visitor engagement & tour guiding.
  • Park conservation, safety & site monitoring.
  • Provide operations & administrative support.
  • Plan and execute activities for guests.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate or Diploma in Tourism and Tour Guiding with at least 2 years working experience in similar field.
  • Graduate in any Post-Secondary institution with at least 3 years work experience in similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in tour guiding, visitor services, or a similar field.
  • Experience in customer engagement, ticket verification, or frontline service delivery.
