JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Executive supports the implementation of the digital marketing efforts by maintaining and ensuring accurate, up-to-date, high-quality website and social media content, improved visibility and traffic, timely audience engagement, and performance reporting to optimize digital initiatives and support conversion goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate and manage the submissions, collection, verifications, and uploading content for the official websites and online platforms.
2. Maintain and update news, events and key destination information regularly to ensure content remains accurate, relevant and engaging.
3. Execute strategies to drive online traffic, strengthen search engine visibility, and support lead generation or conversion goals.
4. Support ongoing improvements to website usability, structure, design, content quality and conversion pathways.
5. Develop, produce, schedule, and publish engaging content across official social media platforms.
6. Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, respond promptly to strengthen audience engagement.
7. Maintain social networking channels and to keep key content areas of the website fresh and dynamic by seeking out new copy, imagery, audio and video materials.
8. Support execution of strategies to increase traffic, improve search visibility, and contribute to lead generation and conversion objectives (SEO/SEM best practices.
9. Research and compile insights on digital advertising opportunities to inform campaign planning and optimisation.
10. Liaise with designers (web/graphic) and other service providers to develop digital assets required for campaigns and always-on content.
11. Track and report on digital and social media trends, emerging platforms, and audience behaviours; provide recommendations for innovation and improvement.
12. Provide regular performance updates on web and social initiatives (content performance, traffic,engagement, campaign effectiveness), highlighting actionable insights.
13. Stay current on all social media developments, trends and emerging platforms; provide insights and recommendations for optimisation and innovation.
14. Provide support during special events in collaboration with the marketing, product and events teams.
15. Research and report on online advertising opportunities incorporated into campaigns.
16. Provide updates on the effectiveness of web strategies and promotional activity.
17. Respond promptly to inquiries from web audiences and route issues appropriately when escalation is required.
18. Perform any other related duties as assigned in support of the Division’s objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Marketing, Tourism or a related field plus three years related working experience OR
- Degree in Marketing, Tourism or a related field plus two years related working experience.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in websites and content management systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of Social Media Marketing & Advertising.
- Practical knowledge in Content Creation (videography skills)
- Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing.
- Analytical mindset.
- Creative, proactive, and adaptable.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
