Job Description
As a Senior Security Officer at Vallée de Mai, you will need to undertake responsibility for surveillance of the premises and protecting the staff and visitors. The job entails maintaining good working coordination to keep the facility safe, secure, and free from thefts, vandalism, and criminal behaviours.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
- Supervises and organizes the work schedule for Security Officers
- Carry out checks on the Security Officers to ensure their presence and alertness on duty
- Review reports on incidents and breaches reported by Security Officers and act upon as per protocol
- Ensure that all books/records kept by the Security Officers are correctly completed and that all regulations are followed
- Ensure that the Security Officers enforce full adherence to all park regulations and SIF policies by all including visitors and staff
- Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day management and supervision of the park
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate from any Post-Secondary education and at least 3 to 4 years experience as a Security Officer or equivalent relevant position plus supervisory skills
- Training in security is an advantage
